Independence Day
72nd Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at Carmel English School, Kallata, The ceremony started at 9AM in the school with students.
General Secretary Mr.Biswajit Pani the Chief Guest , Teachers and staffs of School were escorted by the school team .
Mr. K.Pushpanadham offered a word of prayer for the successful celebration.Right after the prayer Mr.Ambritraj Deep read the scripture portion from the book of 2nd Corinthian 3:17 (Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.)
To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation, the Chief Guest unfurled the tricolor flag and all in ... sang the National Anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom.
The Choir group sang the Patriotic song that awakened everyone’s feelings towards our Mother Land.
The Programme frame up with the Vote of thanks by Mr.Sanjeet Kumar Paik and Mr.Ranjit Kumar Paik lead a concluded prayer and thanks God for the successful 72nd Independence Day of India. At the end sweets were distributed to the students, Parents and staffs.
Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
